Alberto CAPPATO

Alberto Cappato is Director of Innovation, Development and Sustainability in Porto Antico of Genoa (Italy). He holds a PhD in Transport Engineering & Economics and a Degree in Economics and Management.  He is also Vice-President of the IIC-International Institute of Communications and board member of several organisation connected to urban development and tourism. President of the Tourism Committee of Confindustria from 2013 to 2020, mr Cappato has previously worked as a consultant for a number of international organisations, including the OECD and Plan Bleu. He is an expert in Territorial Planning and Development, regional economics, and transport economics. For several year Professor (contractual) at the University of Genoa. He is currently President and CEO of Progetto Santa Margherita, the company that manages the waterfront of Santa Margherita Ligure together with the prestigious Villa Durazzo.

 

Ann MOORE

Ann Moore is Vice Chair of the Port of San Diego Board of Port Commissioners, where her signature initiatives include an update to the Port Master Plan and redevelopment of the 535-acre Chula Vista Bayfront. A recognized leader in land use planning, she is a past recipient of the prestigious National Planning Excellence Award: Planning Advocate from the American Planning Association. She served as City Attorney for a major California city, Chula Vista, and has practiced law for more than 20 years with extensive experience in California land use, real estate, redevelopment, environmental, and municipal law. Moore represents both developers and governmental agencies in processing land use entitlements for large scale residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Her areas of expertise include the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), Subdivision Map Act, eminent domain, inverse condemnation, Endangered Species Act and public infrastructure financing. She graduated from San Diego State University with a Public Administration degree, and she earned her law degree at the University of San Diego law school.
