Carl LABERGE

A civil engineer by training and a seasoned manager, Carl Laberge has been President and CEO of the Port of Saguenay since 2015. With more than 25 years' experience in engineering, management and project development, Carl Laberge is recognised for his leadership and development vision, which have greatly influenced the growth and strategic positioning of the Port of Saguenay in recent years. 
He has in-depth knowledge of the maritime sector, as well as having previously worked on construction projects in the energy and industrial sectors. 
Carl Laberge holds a master's degree in engineering and a master's degree in business administration. Involved in his community, he chaired the Saguenay-Le Fjord Chamber of Commerce and Industry between 2019 and 2021. He is also very involved in the maritime industry. He chaired the Canadian delegation of the American Association of Port Authorities (AAPA) and the Association of Canadian Port Authorities until 2023.  

Luc S. ATROKPO

Born on October 16, 1973 in Cotonou, Benin, to a business executive father and a shopkeeper mother from the Adja Tado area of central and southern Benin, Mr. Luc Atrokpo is :

- Since 2015, President of the Association Nationale des Communes du Bénin (ANCB); 

- Mayor of Cotonou Commune, Benin, since May 2020.

- Vice-President of the International Association of Francophone Mayors since May 2024.

Before becoming mayor of Benin's economic capital and largest and most important city, Mr. Luc ATROKPO studied in Benin and obtained several diplomas, including a Licence en Droit (Business and Judicial Careers) in 2000 and a Master in Management from Groupe EXCELIA, France in 2023.

Group Executive - Assets, Infrastructure and Development
PORT AUTHORITY OF NEW SOUTH WALES

As a member of the Port Authorities of New South Wales Executive, Trent leads both the Risk and Infrastructure, Assets and Development divisions.

Within those divisions Trent is responsible for the long-term infrastructure planning and development activities with the recent focus being on the master planning and redevelopment of The Bays Port in Sydney Harbour.
