Port authorities and municipalities today draw on tools of very different kinds to plan: technical methodologies, design philosophies, and digital governance models, each responding to a different kind of pressure on the port-city interface. This session brings three such tools together, from a climate resilience framework to a landscape-driven design vision to an AI-powered data governance model. Rather than presenting a single converged approach, the session offers a working toolbox, inviting comparison across method, design, and technology, and asking which of these tools port cities most need, and how they might be combined.
